Gabriella Sophia

Gabriella “Gabi” Sophia is an independent hairstylist located inside Salon Bravissimo at 701 Howe Avenue #F20 in Sacramento, specializing in highlighting, dimensional hair color, blowouts, styling, and working with a variety of hair textures. Before beginning her professional hairstyling career, Gabi lived in Abu Dhabi for 10 years and worked as a freelance makeup artist, giving her an international perspective on beauty, color, and personal style. After moving to San Francisco, she graduated from Cinta Aveda Institute in 2018 and continued her development through an internship at Madu Salon, where she gained experience with curly hair and DevaCurl techniques and products. She later completed a two-year assistant program under master stylists at Elle Lui in Santa Rosa, receiving professional Wella color training, and further developed her styling and blowout skills while working at Drybar in Sacramento. Gabi also received advanced education, hands-on training, and mentorship through Salon Bravissimo, further developing her technical skills in cutting, color, styling, consultation, and personalized client care. Bringing together her backgrounds in hairstyling and makeup artistry with years of professional education, Gabi takes an individualized approach to every client, balancing professional guidance with careful listening to create a welcoming experience and a finished look that complements the person wearing it.
