Art Valles is an independent hairstylist located inside Salon Bravissimo at 2358 Fair Oaks Boulevard in Sacramento, bringing more than 25 years of professional experience behind the chair with a strong foundation in precision haircutting and personalized hair design. Art and his wife and longtime professional partner, Tammy, created and operated the award-winning California Concept salon for more than 18 years, where Art also shared his knowledge and experience through technical training and education. His extensive professional education includes Sassoon-influenced precision cutting, advanced training with TONI&GUY and Trevor Sorbie, and continued professional education with Goldwell International and Wella. Today, Art continues his independent practice inside Salon Bravissimo, bringing decades of experience as a hairstylist, salon owner, educator, and mentor to his work while continuing to pursue the education and inspiration that have defined his career.

“After more than 25 years as a hairstylist, there’s one thing I know for sure: there is nothing more rewarding than creating beauty. I began my journey at Sacramento City College, and early in my career I was introduced to the precision and creativity of Vidal Sassoon-inspired cutting through my work with Max Papier and Silvia Slade. That foundation has influenced the way I approach hair throughout my career—combining technical discipline with creativity and always looking at the individual in front of me. Over the years, I’ve pursued advanced education with TONI&GUY, Trevor Sorbie, Goldwell International, Wella, and other industry leaders, traveling for inspiration and continually expanding my knowledge of the craft. Even after decades behind the chair, I still believe there is always something new to learn and something new to bring back to my clients. Knowledge is power, and education continues to fuel my passion for this industry.”

Balayage - Hair Painting

Double Process Bleach

Stylists use double process color to lighten the hair by two or more shades in one session. The colorist will first bleach the hair completely, then tone it to create your desired shade.

Color Correction

Color Correction service aims to "correct" the tone or color. Whether your hue is too light, dark, cool-toned, or warm-toned, your colorist will create a hair color correction plan specifically for your hair's needs. Color correction may need to be done in many different scenarios including uneven color, brass, or banding. $120 - $200 per hour depending on stylist. Average range 3 to 5 hours depending on length of hair and complexity of removing previous hair color and lightening hair. Stylists that have assistants are able to perform service in shorter duration of time but have higher hourly rate. Consultation and deposit required.

A luxury, low-maintenance service designed to softly blend natural gray with existing color, eliminating harsh regrowth lines and creating a seamless, dimensional result.
