Emily Maker is an experienced independent hairstylist and hair color specialist at Salon Bravissimo, located at 2358 Fair Oaks Blvd in Sacramento. She specializes in precision haircuts, customized hair color, highlights, and dimensional color, combining technical expertise with an artistic approach to create polished, wearable looks tailored to each client.

A former Wella Color Educator, Emily has made advanced education an important part of her career. Her professional training includes the Sassoon Academy in London, Bumble and Bumble University in New York, and education through the American Board of Certified Haircolorists. Her extensive color education has strengthened her expertise in professional hair color formulation, modern coloring techniques, and creating balanced, dimensional results.

Emily believes exceptional hair begins with understanding the individual. She considers each client’s hair texture, facial features, lifestyle, maintenance preferences, and personal style when creating a customized haircut and color plan.

Her creativity also extends beyond the salon. Emily has collaborated with models and photographers on portfolio and editorial work and has participated in professional competitions including the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA).

Double Process Bleach

Color Correction

Color Correction service aims to "correct" the tone or color. Whether your hue is too light, dark, cool-toned, or warm-toned, your colorist will create a hair color correction plan specifically for your hair's needs. Color correction may need to be done in many different scenarios including uneven color, brass, or banding. $120 - $200 per hour depending on stylist. Average range 3 to 5 hours depending on length of hair and complexity of removing previous hair color and lightening hair. Stylists that have assistants are able to perform service in shorter duration of time but have higher hourly rate. Consultation and deposit required.
