Dawniel Taylor is an independent hairstylist located inside Salon Bravissimo at 2358 Fair Oaks Boulevard in Sacramento, bringing more than 23 years of professional experience in haircutting, hair color, styling, and customized smoothing services. A 2004 graduate of Elite Cosmetology School, Dawniel has continued her education throughout her career with advanced training through TONI&GUY Academy in multiple cities and Goldwell Color Academy in Los Angeles. Her additional professional education includes R+Co, KMS Hair, Moroccanoil, and Goldwell, reflecting her ongoing commitment to evolving techniques, products, and professional hair care. Dawniel is also certified in both the Brazilian Blowout Professional Smoothing System and Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy System, allowing her to customize smoothing and frizz-reduction services according to each client’s hair, lifestyle, and desired result. Combining decades of experience with continued education and a genuine love of client relationships, Dawniel approaches each appointment with the same purpose that first inspired her career: helping people feel confident and beautiful in their hair.

“Some of my earliest memories are of going to the salon with my mom and watching her transform not only her clients’ hair, but their confidence too. While she worked behind the chair, I was nearby styling oversized Barbie heads and dreaming about the day I could create that same feeling for someone else. I knew from a young age that hairstyling was what I wanted to do, so after high school I went directly to cosmetology school and began turning that childhood dream into a career. More than 23 years later, being behind the chair is still one of my favorite places to be. I’ve had the privilege of sharing so many moments with my clients—new looks, new chapters, celebrations, milestones, and all the life that happens in between. Those relationships are a huge part of why I love what I do. I also never want experience to become an excuse to stop learning. Continuing education keeps me inspired, challenges me creatively, and allows me to bring new techniques and ideas back to my clients. What started as a childhood dream has become a lifelong passion that has always felt more like a calling than simply a job.”

Double Process Bleach

Stylists use double process color to lighten the hair by two or more shades in one session. The colorist will first bleach the hair completely, then tone it to create your desired shade.

Color Correction

Color Correction service aims to "correct" the tone or color. Whether your hue is too light, dark, cool-toned, or warm-toned, your colorist will create a hair color correction plan specifically for your hair's needs. Color correction may need to be done in many different scenarios including uneven color, brass, or banding. $120 - $200 per hour depending on stylist. Average range 3 to 5 hours depending on length of hair and complexity of removing previous hair color and lightening hair. Stylists that have assistants are able to perform service in shorter duration of time but have higher hourly rate. Consultation and deposit required.
