Hi, I’m Emma! I’ve always had a passion for creativity, fashion, and self-expression. Growing up, I was constantly experimenting with my own hair, coloring it for the first time at just 12 years old, and discovering how transformative the right cut or color can be. I love working with dimensional color, modern cuts, and styles that help my guests feel confident and beautiful inside and out. Whether it’s enhancing natural tones or stepping outside the comfort zone with something bold and fresh, I’m passionate about creating looks that feel authentic and empowering.
Emma graduated at the top of her class from Sacramento City College’s Cosmetology Program in May 2024 and received her Cosmetology License in June 2024. She completed advanced hands-on training through Salon Bravissimo’s mentorship program, refining her technical skills, consultation techniques, and attention to detail. She is excited to continue growing behind the chair and to help every guest leave feeling confident, refreshed, and truly seen.
Hello, I’m Kyla! You could say hairstyling is part of my DNA. My grandfather was the neighborhood’s go-to hairstylist, and one of my earliest (and funniest) memories involves giving my cousin an impromptu haircut with his shears. Growing up immersed in beauty and art naturally led me to a career where creativity and connection go hand in hand. I’ve always been captivated by the power of a salon transformation—not just by how it looks, but how it makes someone feel. It’s truly an honor each time a client places their trust in me with something as personal as their hair.
Kyla holds an Associate of Science in Cosmetology from Sacramento City College and continually expands her knowledge by taking classes from top-tier brands like Wella and R+Co. She also seeks specialized training from local and in-house stylists to stay ahead of trends and techniques in this dynamic industry. Every day, I’m inspired to grow, evolve, and bring my clients’ hair dreams to life.

My passion for skin care goes beyond our skin’s surface. I have enjoyed making people feel great on the outside but within as well. I believe advancing and continuing my education in this field is a crucial aspect in reaching total client satisfaction along with personal success. The most rewarding feeling is to love the skin you’re in. Not only do I take pride in skin care, makeup has played an important role in my career decision. I believe makeup only enhances our beauty.

Hi! My name is Gabriella Sophia but you can call me Gabi. I love laughing, dancing, working out, and traveling. My goal is to create a comfortable, positive, and judgement-free environment for my clients. Growing up, my mom was an actress. Being on set, my passion for the beauty industry was born. I loved watching the artists work their magic and transform people. My biracial and international background gives me a unique perspective on the beauty industry. In a world where unrealistic beauty standards are pushed onto us, I aim to celebrate and emphasize the individuality of each of my clients. Becoming a hairstylist has given me the opportunity to not only transform peoples’ looks on the outside, but also bring out their confidence.

I discovered my passion in doing hair when I realized that coloring hair was so captivating. The integral nature of combining technical precision and artistic influences, thus producing a beautiful end result, is a feeling that I strive for daily in this industry. As a teenager, I always enjoyed styling my own hair. Now I get to further my passion and express my creativity with the beauty world. I enjoy seeing what I can do to put a smile on our client’s face and the ability to meet or exceed client’s expectations. Being able to be a part of the Salon Bravissimo team has truly been a blessing. I am exposed to new concepts and approaches everyday. I am so excited to be in the cosmetology industry and have dreamed of being a stylist for many years now. Prior to having my license I was always the “go to girl” for friends and family to do hair and make-up. I loved being able to use my natural talent and creativity to make the ones I loved feel beautified! I am thrilled to be able to do that now with professional training. I love to keep it fresh and exciting by always staying mindful of what’s new and in style. I am also passionate about expanding on my current skills through continuous education. I feel that the team at Salon Bravissimo will continue to inspire me to grow as a stylist and become the best at what I love to do most!

My passion in the beauty industry started at age 5 when I realized that I loved to play with my dolls’ hair. After not being satisfied with the dolls’ hairstyle, I decided to cut it and style it to my own liking. After not having any more dolls to give “makeovers”, my next clients were my 2 sisters. I gave them a new hairstyle every day from my own imagination. Not only did I give my sisters new hairstyles, but also designed and made clothes for them to compliment their new look. After receiving my university degree in Child Psychology and working in the field for many years, I realized that my true passion was in the creative arts, specifically cosmetology. By working in the beauty industry for over 20 years, I have developed many great relationships with industry professionals and most importantly, wonderful clients who give me the satisfaction to come to work each day. Salon Bravissimo’s management and staff, along with the fantastic, professional, and artistic work environment, inspires me to be more creative and passionate for my art.

I am grateful that I have developed trustworthy relationships with my clients as well as being able to give them a fabulous hair color and style.

In her free time, she enjoys working with models and photographers building upon her portfolio and entering competitions such as the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA).
My passion for the hair industry is supported by furthering my education in precision haircutting, as well as taking courses at Vidal Sassoon Academy on a regular basis. It is through the continuous education which allows me to refine my craft, stay informed with the fashion movements, and be inspired about the latest trends in haircutting and coloring. Having had the privilege of learning from the finest professionals of this industry, I was able to see the importance of passing on the values and knowledge by becoming an educator within the salon. I LOVE MY JOB! Beauty is my passion. I stay current and know what’s fresh and what’s happening in my industry. Technology is changing the products we use today. I keep myself current on chemistry and technique. We have to have the heart of an artist and the mind of a chemist. One without the other is a handicap. Education is the key. If I’m never bored I’ll never be boring.

Recognized as an authority in the hair community, she has been on local news as a beauty consultant and make-up artist, as well as styling for television commercials. Her work has been published both locally and internationally as well as on television shows.
Tammy and her husband Art, created an award winning salon that was their passion for over 18 yrs. Moving in an exciting new direction. Tammy decided to concentrate more as an artist rather than a salon owner, so she now applies her multifaceted talents in the ultimate beauty experience “Thelookkool.com” at Salon Bravissimo. Being a hairdresser for over 25 years, there is one thing I know for sure. There is nothing more rewarding than creating beauty. I was born in Texas and moved to California at a young age. I attended beauty college at Sacramento City College. That’s where I began to open my eyes to all I could look forward to in my future. The Vidal Sassoon training of precision and creativity I received early in my career through work with Max Papier and Silvia Slade has guided my work throughout my life. As I have grown in this industry, I pursued advanced education from Tony and Guy to Trevor Sorbie. Traveling the world for inspiration, I have attended and completed master hair color classes from Goldwell International and Wella to further understand the chemistry and artistry of hair color. I will continue to seek out new and exciting ideas to bring my clients through education. Knowledge is power!
With my partner in life and work, my wife Tammy and I created and owned an award winning salon “California Concept” for over 18 yrs, where we enjoyed training our staff in haircutting, hair color, and all aspects of our business. These exceptional people that had their start at our salon have become some of the top hairdressers and salon owners in California.
Now that I am at Salon Bravissimo I am determined to continue my passion for hair. Working at Salon Bravissimo is both exciting and fun, and the atmosphere is professional and inspiring.
A good hairstyle can make a big difference in your confidence and I want to help you feel beautiful and confident. Everyone is unique and you deserve a unique hairstyle that fits your lifestyle and personality.
Hair has been my lifelong passion. Hair is an art form to me. I’m happy to say I’m living my dream doing hair here at Salon Bravissimo. I started to learn the art of updos as a child and my love for hair continued to grow ever since. Scalp and hair health has always interested me as it is the root of it all.
Layla graduated from Federico Beauty Institute in 2021 and was trained in precision cutting. She is continually taking classes to keep up on the latest trends and techniques. Layla has taken classes with Wella, Schwarzkopf, Bumble and Bumble, Oribe and Kerastase.
When I first started my career as a stylist, my goals were to achieve as much education as I could by attending as many hair shows and attending the Sassoon Academy which inspired me to want to make a difference. After salon ownership in Aptos, California, I decided to return to Sacramento in hopes of working for a major company. I was a Market Trainer at J.C. Penny that included a territory of 12 stores in my district. As a Market Trainer, my duties included training and motivating associates in customer service skills, product knowledge, and technical skills. Visits to individual stores resulted in salon sales increases of more than 15%.
Still having a passion for teaching, I decided to apply my skills to teaching. This led me to Federico Beauty Institute, Paul Mitchell The School Sacramento, and Sacramento City College Cosmetology Department.
Currently, I am a Senior Stylist at Salon Bravissimo where I still carry my passion to make a difference.
Let’s make a difference together.
At a young age I was intrigued by fashion, hair and makeup. I sought out different looks in magazines and music videos. My love of music was a big influence in my own unique style. I craved originality. Hair, makeup and clothing were how I expressed myself. I started experimenting with hair color on myself and my friends; then friends of friends. With the encouragement to start beauty college in high school I found the career I was meant for and never considered anything else. I love what I do and I’m good at it. I welcome a challenge and the opportunity to be creative. I also appreciate simple and classic. Diversity is one of the many gifts of this industry.
